In 1992, Artic Cat Inc. began operations in Madison. There are 93 employees that work at Artic Cat. 80 employees paint and apply graphics to hoods, weld, and sub-assemble components for Artic Cat snowmobiles and ATV's. The finished pieces are sent to the assembly plant in Thief River Falls.

Founded on January 1, 1996, Custom Touch Homes are homes that are built in this modern factory. Their main products are one-piece custom built homes and split modular homes. Custom Touch realizes the importance of energy efficiency, quality control, and on-time delivery. Great pride is taken in thier homes that are constructed with modern factory assembly line techniques. Each home that is constructed will never be delayed by weather, no-show contractors or delayed material and each home is throughly inspected for quality workmanship.

Farmers, ranchers, contractors, and municipalities are the main types of customers that receive the equipment the Gehl Company manufactures. The main product is the Skid Steer Loader. Gehl Company began operation in 1859 by Louis Lucas. At this time the product was a plow/cultivator and one perosn was employed at that time. Since 1906 the only owner, other that Louis Lucas, was the Gehl Brothers Manufacturing Company. The Madison facility started producing equipment in 1973.

Founded in Howell, Michigan in 1934, May & Scofield is a multi-national company. The company offers the extensive knowledge, production capailities, and teams of specialists necessary to take any plastics or electronics project from concept to completion quickly and affordably. The Madison division opened for operation in 1978. Today the company's main focus in on the manufacture of transportation shift indicators, gearshift knobs, and plastic assemblies for the automotive industry. Some other capabilities include project management, product design, prototyping in palastics and electronic assemlies, tool/mold design and building, and assembly. The company's dedication to service, delivery and quality is recognized by awards as GM's Mark of Excellence, Denso Manufacturing's Superior Performance, Chrysler's Certified Supplier, Chrysler's Gold Pentastar, and Ford's Q-1.

Thorman Rosholt founded the Rosco Manufacturing Company in 1928 in Minneapolis, MN. Since this time Rosco has grown from a small hardwre company to a manufacturer of asphalt distributors, chipspreaders, pothole patchers, compactors, sweepers and water flushers. This company is a full line manufacturer of road maintenance equipment with concentration on asphalt applications. These products are used all over the world to improve roads. In 1983 Rosco moved from Minneapolis to Madison. The employees are involved in developing, engineering, selling and manufacturing equipment tht is distributed through a network of dealers throughout the United States and Canada. Rosco cares about their customers and backs that up with quality and service.

Founded in 1965 in Mission, South Dakota, Rosebud Manufacturing Company developes kitchen and bath cabinetry. They have expanded their markets to include furniture for the lodging industry. This includes custom-build furniture and Lobby furniture.
