In 1992, Artic Cat Inc. began operations in Madison. There are 93 employees that work at Artic Cat. 80 employees paint and apply graphics to hoods, weld, and sub-assemble components for Artic Cat snowmobiles and ATV's. The finished pieces are sent to the assembly plant in Thief River Falls. |

Gehl Company began operation in 1859 by Louis Lucas. At this time the product was a plow/cultivator and one perosn was employed at that time. Since 1906 the only owner, other that Louis Lucas, was the Gehl Brothers Manufacturing Company. The Madison facility started producing equipment in 1973. |

Thorman Rosholt founded the Rosco Manufacturing Company in 1928 in Minneapolis, MN. Since this time Rosco has grown from a small hardwre company to a manufacturer of asphalt distributors, chipspreaders, pothole patchers, compactors, sweepers and water flushers. This company is a full line manufacturer of road maintenance equipment with concentration on asphalt applications. These products are used all over the world to improve roads. In 1983 Rosco moved from Minneapolis to Madison. The employees are involved in developing, engineering, selling and manufacturing equipment tht is distributed through a network of dealers throughout the United States and Canada. Rosco cares about their customers and backs that up with quality and service. |
