We are all familiar with typical art mediums, such as acrylic paint or colored pencils. But what may not be known is that art covers many bases. Categories such as diorama models, computer graphic design, and illustrated stories have had no entries in the State Fair in the last few years at MHS. Even though there have been hundreds of art pieces placed in the State Fair, none have been a part of these categories, leaving them hung out to dry.
Contrary to popular belief, art goes hand in hand with other subjects. These mediums stem from science, technology, and English. Any students interested in art or creative activities are encouraged to construct pieces for submission to the state fair.
