Amanda Sue Vacanti was born in Sioux Falls, SD, on May 2. She currently resides by Lake Madison while she attends Madison High School. Her family consists of her mother, Michelle; her father, Tony; and her two sisters, Ali and Taya. Growing up, Amanda participated in several sports, such as softball and volleyball, to which she would dedicate all her social media. While Amanda might not be known as the best driver due to her previous crash records, riding a dirt bike comes quite easily to her.
Her fondest memories are of the times she spent eating her grandmother's goulash and playing with her dog, Phoenix, whom she could not live without. Their bond is extremely strong due to a shared love of snacks. A character that best describes Amanda’s personality would be her childhood favorite, Scooby-Doo. Amanda enjoys spending her free time with friends and family. Her favorite subject is Biology, and she loves the color blue. Her favorite movie is a tie between Mr. Peabody and Sherman and The Notebook, but if she were to be a character in any movie, she would choose someone from The Hunger Games to see how long she would be able to survive. If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to read minds. With five million dollars, she would buy herself a never-ending snack bar.
Amanda plans to attend South Dakota State University on a softball scholarship to study respiratory or pharmaceutical care. In ten years, she sees herself achieving her bucket list dreams of being rich, traveling around Europe (which may be difficult with her fear of flying), and maybe even owning a floating house in Bora Bora where she could tan. If Amanda could go back to any year, she would go to the 1980s because of how exciting it looks. However, she prefers this current decade due to her extreme attachment to her On Cloud shoes. Her two biggest pieces of advice are, “Eat as much Qdoba as possible,” and always listen to Mrs. Unterbrunner's recommendations, such as, “You can always sit on your bullies.”
