Jillian Ann Hubbell, also known as “Jill” or “Jillybean”, is a senior at Madison High School. Jill was born on September 20, 2005, and has always been a resident of Madison. Her family consists of her parents, Cheryl and Travis; two siblings, Garrett and Molli; and a half-sibling, Chelsie. Jill says that she could not live without her cat, Fin, who also lives with the family.
When Jill has free time, she enjoys spending it sleeping or hanging out with friends. She is also a waitress at The Office and says that the most rewarding part of her job is “putting a smile on people’s faces”. Some of Jill’s favorite things include the color pink, pasta, and Back to the Future. Jill is also involved in band, choir, and color guard, which she believes comes easily to her.
Jill is a huge fan of Grey’s Anatomy. She believes that the character that describes her best is George O’Malley because “he is very emotional and empathetic”. If Jill could live anywhere for a year, she would choose New York. Jill does not have a bucket list, as she is someone who likes to go with the flow. If Jill could have any superpower, she would like the ability to know when people are lying.
Jill’s favorite high school memory is the sub slaps that happen every year during marching band season. Jill also recommends participating in music during high school, as she says it is a good outlet. After graduation, Jill would like to go to either Augustana or SDSU to pursue music education. Ten years from now, she sees herself married and living in South Dakota. Jill’s advice for the underclassmen is to always be kind and not care about what others think about you.
