Danny Kai Ming Cao, born on August 30, 2006, is the son of Shidi Cao and Shuhui Zou. When he turned seven, Danny’s family moved to Madison from New York to take over his great uncle's restaurant, China Moon. Beyond working at the restaurant, which he finds rewarding because he “gets to help his family,” Danny hangs out with friends, improves his musical talent, and codes games in his free time. His favorite hobby, coding, stems from middle school and programming classes. In addition to his past times, Danny has a strong passion for math because he enjoys the puzzle challenge and it is a versatile skill.

With a strong love for math, Danny would spend a hypothetical five million dollars on a two-and-a-half million dollar house and risky investment call options. Although he does not have five million dollars yet, an item on his bucket list consists of becoming financially independent and visiting China again.

Danny recommends music to anyone, considering his love for music and band. He says, “Music brings people together and makes a lasting bond.” He loves music so much, in fact, that he already has a YouTube channel featuring piano. Failure, which Danny experiences frequently in music, does not deter him from perfecting his craft.

After high school, Danny plans to attend the University of Minnesota for a major in Computer Science. Following this, Danny will live in a two-thousand-square-foot house with four bedrooms, and a normal American lifestyle.
