Andrew Chad Comes, known as “Drew” to his family and friends, would love to travel to North Korea for the culture, all the different views they have to offer, and for the experience. Andrew’s favorite food is spaghetti; according to Andrew, “It never disappoints.” Andrew lives in Madison, South Dakota, and has lived here his entire life. At his home, it’s always busy with seven in his household: dad (Chad), mom (Heidi), one brother (Nic), and three sisters (Olivia, Kate, and Elli). Drew is the fourth born out of five. Andrew doesn’t have a lot of free time on his hands because he’s involved in two sports: football and basketball. He also works at Lund Kennels and Pheasant Hatchery and he claims that he loves the physical labor of his job because it feels rewarding. When Drew does find himself with free time, he loves to go to the gym or play frisbee golf when the weather is nice.
Andrew is a man with little fear, as he says confidently, “I fear nothing.” If Drew had a TikTok or YouTube channel, he would share his love and knowledge of frisbee golf. Andrew has one thing on his personal bucket list that he hopes to do, and it would be to go in zero gravity. He would like to go in zero gravity so he can experience what it’s like to float around. Andrew only has one thing he can’t live without: food. As he says, “I would die without it.” Andrew is a great man and a happy one; he loves spending time with his family, playing sports with his teammates, and just living life to the fullest.
In ten years, Andrew sees himself living in the Midwest with a beautiful family that consists of an amazing wife and two kids. Andrew recently joined the South Dakota Air National Guard. When Andrew is done with his training, he will attend the University of South Dakota for a master's in business finance. Andrew has one thing to share with all of his classmates and the underclassmen, and it is “don’t take it so seriously.”
