Climate Change

2023 was the hottest year recorded in our lifetime. The UN Chief spoke on the global average temperature this July, which was confirmed to be the highest on record and possibly the highest for the past 120,000 years. July also had the highest-ever ocean surface temperatures. Even though the data wasn’t made official until the middle of December, scientists predicted that the temperature would not be cold enough to affect the results.

There is still time to turn back our climate, but time is running out. Even though each individual’s impact is minimal, you can do your part in the fight against climate change by taking small steps to reduce your carbon footprint. “We are the first generation to feel the effect of climate change and the last generation who can do something about it,’’ states Barrack Obama, former president of the United States.
