Cooper Tyrone Anderson, also known as “Coop", is an 18-year-old senior at Madison High School. Cooper was born and raised in Madison, South Dakota. His family consists of his dad, Vince; his mom, April; older sister, Marissa; and brother, Hayden. Cooper’s favorite thing to do in his free time is to get outside and hunt. He has been hunting since he was 12 years old. If there’s one thing Cooper couldn’t live without, it’d be his shotgun. Cooper works for Triple Curl Outfitters, which is rewarding because “you get paid to hunt.”
After high school, Cooper plans to start his own outfitter as his full-time job. In ten years, Cooper sees himself living happily with a house, a couple of dogs, and a mad ex-wife. Cooper’s bucket list consists of owning his own outfitter, owning a Ranger Fisherman Series 622FS Pro Fiberglass Deep V Boat, and owning a SnoBear. In school, Cooper’s favorite class is his open campus because “I’m not in school.”
Outside of MHS, you can find Cooper hunting, fishing, spending time with friends, or enjoying some fresh brisket because “it’s the best.” His favorite show is Yellowstone. Cooper recommends getting into fishing at a young age because “it connects you with the outside world and can be very relaxing.” If Cooper could play any character from a movie, he would be Deadpool from Deadpool because “he’s cool.” If Cooper had a YouTube Channel, he would focus on either hunting or fishing. In addition, Cooper’s advice to underclassmen is to “listen to Mrs. Gonyo because she speaks wise words.”
