Spencer Lee Reverts is a very busy student who enjoys staying involved. Participation in activities such as choir, band, tennis, Oral Interp, student council, Quiz bowl, FBLA, and NHS has kept Spencer occupied throughout all of his high school years. Throughout all of his involvement, his favorite activities have been marching band, MadVoices, and tennis. Besides his numerous activities, Spencer enjoys working at the Madison Public Library because “I get money, and money is good!” When it comes to free time, Spencer simply says, “I don’t have it.”
Spencer would compare himself most to Charlie Brown because he is “persistent, unlucky, and trusting to a fault.” Spencer believes that he could not live without his calendar as he has activities planned nearly every day. Influenced by his various activities, Spencer’s advice to underclassmen is to “Get involved, but don’t overwork yourself,” and he further advises, “You’ll want to enjoy these years, and joining a healthy amount of activities is among the best ways to do that.”
After graduation, Spencer plans on going to college for accounting to become a Certified Public Accountant. Throughout his life, Spencer plans to “go with the flow” and roll with whatever the world throws at him. In 10 years, he sees himself residing in Madison, starting a family, and living a joy-filled life surrounded by his loved ones.
