Live, Laugh, Love Caffeine

A well-known student of MHS is Kaden John Drause, known as Keegan by some friends. As a 17-year-old senior graduating from MHS, Kaden has been living in Madison since he was in diapers. He’s the son of Jade Drause and Amy Janke. Keegan has 7 family members including his 5 siblings, 4 brothers, and 1 sister; Tony Fredrickson, Brodie Fredrickson, Gabe Janke, Kennedy Janke, and  Bentley Drause. He works at Bethel Lutheran Home as a dietary aide but switched positions, now taking classes to become a CNA. When questioned about why he likes residents at Bethel he replied that he enjoys it when the residents “boss” him around and tell him what to do.

His interests include going to the gym and being physically active because “it’s good for you”. He has many ideal activities to do in his free time; work, going to the gym, and drinking caffeine because in his words, “it’s a lifestyle”, along with sleeping. When asked what superpower he would want; he replied “Creative mod, from Minecraft because you can do anything.” One item he can never live without is caffeine; he says instead of 90% water, he’s 90% energy drinks. When he was asked what subject in school he enjoys most, the response given was study hall. His favorite color is “Ominous” black and two of his favorite artists are Chief Keef and Tay K, both being rap.

When he graduates from high school, he plans be in the Marine Corps Infantry as his job. When asked who had influenced him to join the Marines, Kaden said “9-year-old me, and [the desire] to be cooler than my brothers that are in the Army”. 10 years from now, he still sees himself in the Marine Corps traveling in East Asia and many other places. A place that he would live/visit is Finland or Norway because he enjoys the cold. Kaden’s one item that he has on his bucket list is he wants to travel to most places in East-Asian countries, along with becoming a Staff-Sergeant and more in the Marine Corps.
