Kade Klein Senior Spotlight

An Easy-Going Farm Kid

Kade Jess Klein is the down-to-earth, easy to talk to, son of Jess and Kim Klein. Kade has two siblings: an older brother Cody and a younger sister Reese. Kade started kindergarten at Saint Thomas Catholic School and then moved to the public school in sixth grade. From a young age, Kade has worked on his parent's farm and says, “It is very fulfilling, and farming is what I want to do in the future. Dad teaches me how to do things so I can eventually take over for him.”

As far as some of Kade's favorite things go, Honey BBQ wings and cheese balls from Buffalo Wild Wings, the colors blue and gray, as well as Ag class are just a few. If you can’t find Kade hanging out with friends, he will be in a tractor jamming out to country music.

Kade's bucket list consists of skydiving and white water rafting because it is intense and gives him an adrenaline rush. If Kade had to choose one superpower, it would be to fly, because he would get places faster and never be late to events. One thing Kade would recommend to anyone is, “eating leftover dinner for breakfast because it fills you up more than cereal or other breakfast foods.” Kade says he is an organized person but his room is dirty. He claims there is a system for knowing where everything is.

In the future, Kade plans on attending Mitchell Technical College for Agronomy and then returning to Madison to farm. He sees himself in ten years married with hopes of farming around the Madison area. Kade's advice to underclassmen is, “Don't stress yourself out too much when it comes to school, it's not worth it. So enjoy high school because it goes fast.” Kade lives his life by the quote “You may not always be winning, but you damn sure better be trying.”
