Dayling Nallivith Gonzalez Vallecillo is also known as “Day” by her friends and family, which includes her dad, Darwin; mom, Fidelina; and brother, Steven. She was born in Nicaragua and later moved to Washington State, but then for family reasons had to move to Madison, South Dakota. Her favorite color is beige, and her favorite movie is The Parent Trap. Dayling recommends watching Violetta. If you gave Dayling five million dollars, she would want to buy a Tesla Cybertruck. When Dayling is not at school you can find her working at McDonald's; what she likes about her job is learning more English words. One thing on Dayling's bucket list is to go to Mazatlan, Mexico.
Dayling says Tinkerbell best describes her because she does her own thing and likes things to be done her own way. She says the power she would want to have would be to read minds because she would like to know what people think about each other. If Dayling had a TikTok platform, she would upload videos of what she does during her day.
If Dayling could live anywhere in the world it would be China. After high school, Dayling plans to go to college and get her degree in nutrition. In ten years, she sees herself in Nicaragua with her family. Dayling’s advice for underclassmen is, “Focus on your things and not others.”
