Painting her Future
Kennedy Rae Smith, also called “Ken” by her sister, has always lived in Madison. Her favorite color is pink; she dreams of driving a pink Corvette C8 Stingray. She says she loves Corvettes because of the design of the doors and their great sound. Her favorite restaurant is Applebees; when she goes there she always orders chicken alfredo. She loves watching the TV show Friends or Love Island with her older sister, and the movie Matilda with her family. Her family includes her parents, older sister, 2 fish, 2 snails, 7 cats, 4 kittens, and many birds. She has two jobs: working in the deli at One Stop where her favorite part is the food, and working at Best Western Hotel in housekeeping. When asked what animal relates to her the most, she said her kitten because “He cries a lot and has a huge attitude problem.” A quote she lives by is “We don’t only live once, we only die once, we live every day.”
When asked what comes easily to her she says painting and drawing, and when she has free time she likes to paint or hang out with her friends and family. She recommends painting because it is relaxing and it takes your mind off of things. When asked what she could not live without she said her blanket because she’s always cold. Her favorite subject to learn about is biology because the information is interesting.
If Kennedy was given $5 million she would buy a house and mini fluffy cows. When Kennedy was asked what advice she would give to underclassmen she said “Go above and beyond and follow the rules.” One of Kennedy’s bucket list items is to visit every state. Kennedy’s future plan is to go to college to become an elementary teacher. In 10 years Kennedy wants to be married with kids, and a few acres of land with fluffy cows. If Kennedy could live anywhere in the world she said she would want to live in Hawaii because of the tropical climate.
