I’ll “Cea” You In The Future
Taneaja Amelia Cea John, also known as “Tj”, is a senior at Madison High School. She participates in Cross country, Basketball, and Track and Field. Taneaja’s early childhood was spent in Brooklyn, New York, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. From there she moved to Madison, South Dakota, in the first grade. Taneajas family includes her mom, Trish John, her older brother, Shianti John, her younger sister, Jaeylnn Green, her Grandma, Sarah Hock, her uncle, Jim Hock, a dog named Hennessy, and three cats named Snowball, Fearless, and Nala. In her free time, she likes to watch YouTube and play basketball, her favorite sport. She loves the color red and if she had 5 million dollars, she would spend 2 million of it on herself, and give the last 3 million to her mom.
Taneaja plans to go to Dakota State University to further her academic and athletics career. She plans on majoring in Physical education with the hope of becoming a Physical Education teacher. After she graduates from college, she is not sure of where she wants to live. Ten years from now, she sees herself on a yacht and playing in the WNBA. Her most memorable moments are, “When I scored my first basket in the 7th grade (I did a little dance because I was so ecstatic) and I picked Zahria off the court so she could continue playing the game”.
A character that best describes Taneaja is Tigger the Tiger because she is so energetic and fun. If she could have any superpower it would be invisibility, so she could get anything for free. When asked her advice for underclassmen, she said, “Don’t let anyone bully you into changing who you are, just be you”.
