Ryan Morse is a senior at Madison High School. He was born in Madison, South Dakota, and his family includes his mom, Kris; dad, John; and sister, Abby. If there is one thing that Ryan could not live without, it’s the family farm. Ryan works on his family’s farm, which he says is rewarding “because I can do something different every day.”
After high school, Ryan plans to attend SDSU and study Agricultural Science. In ten years, Ryan plans on going back to work on the family farm and being happily married. When asked about what his bucket list would consist of, Ryan replied, “I would love to haul cattle out of Montana, because of all the open space, or go out on a custom combine crew.” In school, Ryan’s favorite classes are all his agriculture classes because “I get to do stuff with my hands.”
Outside of MHS, you can find Ryan on the football field, or behind the wheel of a tractor or semi-truck listening to all genres of music. His favorite thing to watch is farming YouTube. In addition, if Ryan had his own YouTube Channel, he would focus on all types of farming content. Some advice Ryan gives to the underclassmen is to “do your work”
