Macy Ann Patch is a 17-year-old senior at Madison High School. She has lived in Madison her entire life. Her family consists of her mom, Tory; dad, Chad; stepdad, Travis; stepbrother, Seth; stepsisters Shay, Shelby, Jordan, and Tori, and half-brother Dillion. Macy has a few favorite things, including the color purple, the food chicken alfredo, and the TV show, Grey's Anatomy. When asked what character describes her best, she said “Meridith Grey because she doesn’t put up with any disrespect.”
Macy loves to work at the Hillside Resort as a shift lead server in her free time. A couple of things Macy recommends are joining as many clubs as you can during high school and eating El Vaquero on semester test days. The most memorable moment in her years of high school so far was “going as a cheerleader to state football freshman year, and being undefeated all year.” Macy’s favorite quote is Jerimiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
If Macy had 5 million dollars, she would buy a big house outside of town, with a barn for horses, goats, pigs, and at least five donkeys. It doesn't stop there: Macy would also like twenty dogs and a sixty-gallon tank of Koi fish. Macy’s bucket list includes scuba diving with whale sharks in Atlanta, Georgia, and skydiving in Arizona with her grandma. After high school, Macy plans on attending Lake Area Tech for two years to get a degree in nursing. In ten years, Macy sees herself as a travel nurse who makes lots of money. Macy advises underclassmen to “Put yourself first in every situation, even if it means you might lose a friend.”
