Jack Allen Meyer is known among close friends as “Jacky Chan.” Jack has always lived in Madison but has moved around. In a family of five, Jack is the youngest. When asked what he does in his free time, Jack says, “Video games and [listens to] unhealthy amounts of music.” When he’s not with his friends, Jack works at Pizza Ranch. He works hard and says the most rewarding part of his job is “getting paid and talking to people.”
When asked what he could not live without, Jack immediately mentions his dog, Gunner, who is super cute, silly, and loves to sleep on the couch. If Jack had five million dollars, he would buy a house with multiple aquariums, both freshwater and saltwater, and fill them with otters. If he could play any movie character, he would choose “Percy Jackson, just because he’s kinda cool.”
Jack plans to go to college somewhere in Duluth, Minnesota to study biology. He would love to live in Duluth because of Lake Superior and the mountains. He loves “scenery and the small town vibes.” In ten years, Jack sees himself working outside in a forest near Washington State. Jack advises underclassmen to turn in their assignments on time.
