The One Act play of 2025 is officially concluded! After competing in the regional competition on January 28th, the cast and crew of One Stoplight Town unfortunately did not advance to the state level for the first time since 2019. Although many members of the cast and crew disagreed with and were upset by this ranking, many stated they were still grateful to have been a part of this year's production. Although they did not advance further, the cast and crew were still given the opportunity to go and watch the state festival on February 8th. Now that One Act has finished, it is time to move on to the next production the MHS theater department has in store. This year's spring play will be Schoolhouse Rock, the Musical. This is very exciting for many students looking to participate as a musical has not been held at MHS since spring of 2022. Ms. Brown and Mrs. Ford encourage any and all students interested in participating in the cast or crew this spring to audition or sign up on the doors outside their respective rooms. Break a leg!
