Remington Robert Rawstern, also known as “Rem”, is the son of Kory and Shelly Rawstern. Rem is an only child and has grown up in Madison his entire life. From a young age, he has enjoyed video games, hanging out with friends, and bowling. You can often find Remington at Cherry Lanes practicing for his next bowling tournament, or working. Rem says the most rewarding parts of working at Cherry Lanes are the paycheck, building customer relationships, and working alongside his co-workers.
Rem would compare himself to Iron Man - “I just always have cheesy one-liners,” he stated. Tony Stark makes sense for Remington, as he said if he could have any superpower it would be the ability to fly, so he doesn’t have to deal with traffic. If given the chance to spend 5 million dollars, he would buy a blue Lamborghini Aventador, and invest the rest for future purposes. Rem couldn’t live without his house, because it’s his safe space.
After high school, Remington plans to attend an out-of-state college to major in business and participate in collegiate bowling. After that, Rem would like to apply his business degree by starting his own business. Rem also has goals of traveling the world and enjoying life to the fullest. He doesn’t have much on his bucket list, but he would like to visit Europe because of its rich history and culture. If Rem could live anywhere in the world it would be Hawaii, because of the consistency in the nice weather. Remington advises underclassmen: “Don’t stress too much, enjoy the time you have, and live in the moment.”
