Elbert Tyrell Seidschlaw is a 17-year-old at Madison High School who has always lived in the Madison area. His family consists of six siblings, his mom, and the family dog, Gizmo. During elementary school, he did not like his first name and often told people to call him Tyrell; as he got older, he learned to appreciate his first name and now is known as Elbert or as the guy with the coolest afro at Madison High School.
In Elbert’s free time, you will often find him playing video games, working, or eating. He has developed a love and passion for cooking over the years. He aspires to be a chef someday and recommends “learning how to cook because it is fun.” Culinary is also his favorite subject in school and if he were to start a YouTube channel it would primarily be about cooking. While Elbert has always excelled in school he is especially good at vocabulary words and is a fast reader. His advice for the younger generation is “Try a little, it's not that hard.”
Besides becoming a famous chef, he wants to be remembered for his hair. If Elbert could be any character he would be Bob Ross not only because they have the same hairstyle but they are both creative, laidback, and happy people. He began growing his afro in the middle of freshman year after receiving a bad haircut.
When asked what he would do with $5 million Elbert said he would give $1 million to his mom, buy a house, go to college, and then save the rest. Along with that, if he could buy that house anywhere it would be close to home because he could never live without his family. One of the main reasons Elbert would choose to remain in South Dakota is that he is absolutely terrified of the ocean, even though he has never been there nor will he ever go.
