
Part 1 message: Good afternoon, this is a message from Madison Central School District Superintendent Joel Jorgenson.
The following are our plans for school on Monday, September 16th. 1 HOUR LATE start at Madison Central, Madison Christian and St. Thomas schools.

ACT testing for Saturday, September 14 has been declared a partial cancel. Testing will be held in East Hall 100 on the DSU campus for those who are able to safely make it to the testing site. Those unable to make it due to flooding can move to October 26 at no additional cost.

- Tonight's High School football game against Dell Rapids is ON AS SCHEDULED! Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
- Volleyball tomorrow against Northwestern in Mellette is ON AS SCHEDULED! C-match is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.

Good afternoon, After receiving information from law enforcement on the number of roads blocked or underwater including main highways, and other flooding issues, there will be no school tomorrow, Sept.13th at Madison Central, Madison Christian and St. Thomas. Everyone be safe!

Because of the flooding in and around Madison as well as the unknown road conditions in the area, the MHS volleyball matches scheduled at Lennox tonight have been RESCHEDULED to Monday, September 23rd. NO VOLLEYBALL TONIGHT!

Because of the flooding in and around the Madison area, the MHS Boy's golf team WILL NOT be going to Vermilion for golf today - Thursday, September 12th.

Good morning - with the major flooding we are experiencing both in town and in the country, and the safe travel concerns it presents, school has been cancelled for today, September 12th. NO SCHOOL

Good evening – on Wednesday, June 12th @ 6 pm law enforcement will be conducting training at Madison High School. There will be a number of law enforcement vehicles at the school but again, this is for a training purpose only. Thanks, and have a great week!

The MHS Baseball Team is playing in the State "B" baseball tournament today in Sioux Falls. GOOD LUCK BULLDOGS!! UPDATE - All state tournament games today have been moved to the Augustana University baseball field starting at 3pm. Bulldogs now scheduled to play at 7pm.

Change of plans - instead of postponing the region 1A Girl's Golf Meet, it has been decided that they will move the meet to Sisseton, AND STILL PLAY TODAY (THURSDAY)! Start time will be at approximately 10:00 am. I apologize for the confusion.

The Region 1A Girl's Golf Meet scheduled for today (Thursday) in Milbank has been POSTPONED because of flooding on the course. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.
