On March 3rd-4th, Madison’s high school jazz choir, MadVoices, went to Creston, Iowa for their Jazz Festival.

The group woke early on Friday morning to drive five hours to the town. On their first night, they enjoyed a delicious lunch from Subway. To thank the workers, MadVoices sang their warmup set for them.

Then, a local church generously allowed MadVoices to practice in their building. To end the night, the group went to a concert by SMV to watch Rosana Eckert and Aubrey Johnson perform.

On Saturday morning, MadVoices took the stage around 11 am. Shortly after performing, they received a 45-minute critique by Rosana Eckert to help them in the future.
