Lexie has participated in four different sports including volleyball, golf, cross country, and basketball. She’s also a National Honor Society member and active church member. These activities represent Lexie’s leadership and her hardworking attitude.
Lexie Marie Roemen was born on March 13th, 2002 to parents Dan and Renee Roemen. Also in this family are five other siblings. From playing football in the backyard and playing on the Wii, Lexie has gotten her competitive attitude from her siblings. Her parents own Sunshine Foods, which leads to Lexie’s job of working in the bakery. “I feel proud knowing that I help contribute to the family business.”
If she could play any character in a tv show, Lexie would be Hannah Montana. “She lives the best of both worlds.” Saying this, she enjoys the life she has now and is thankful for everything she has learned in high school, including how to persevere through stressful times. Lexie also loves Spongebob and how he views everything in a positive manner. That’s what Lexie strives to do.
Lexie’s superpower of choice would be teleportation. She has an interest in traveling and has been to places like Arizona and Hawaii. She thinks teleportation is cool because she could travel anywhere, anytime. While traveling, Lexie would like to try out the wipeout course in Los Angeles. Lexie says, “It would be a fun challenge, and I think I could win.”
After high school, Lexie plans to attend the University of South Dakota, majoring in health service administration/business. This is one of her top goals. Ten years from now, Lexie hopes to have a career that she enjoys. She wants to be remembered as a kind person, who was always smiling and laughing. She advises the incoming freshmen class to enjoy their time in high school because it goes by fast. She also advises the freshmen to order the number 9 at Mcdonalds.
