Mr. Shaw Message Image

Good Evening Parents,

We hope this e-mail will answer a few of your questions.  This week the students will not have any school work to complete. Over the next three days we have asked the high school teaching staff to begin developing on-line lessons in 5 day increments. The Governor has now closed schools March 23rd – 27th. We will be ready to deliver on-line instruction for the students beginning on Monday, March 23rd. Moving forward, we will take it week by week and look for guidance from the State Department of Education and the Governor’s Office. We are definitely in uncharted waters and we’re learning as we go. If you do not have Wi-Fi access at home please let us know so we can develop paper materials for your student(s).

At this point we cannot answer questions about upcoming events in the spring.  As decisions are made we will keep in close contact with all of you. The whole goal is to keep the students and staff safe and healthy. We appreciate all the support you have provided the school district during this difficult time. Our number one priority at this point is to find ways to provide all the students a quality education to the best of our abilities.

As always, if you have questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me at the school. Also, just a reminder that every student has the ability to get a free lunch every day from 11:30 am – 12:45 pm around the community.

Thanks,

Adam
