“If Disney dies, I die” should be a common phrase out of the mouth of Carlie Jean Terrall. This hardcore Disney fan is 17 years old and was born to Amy and David Terrall. Carlie lives in Madison, and her family has had a presence in the town since the town’s beginning. Her family comes from a long line of Madison royalty; her great-great-great-great-great-grandpa was the first mayor of Madison.
Woody from Toy Story is a character that best describes Carlie; she can be bossy and jealous but will always end up making friends. If Carlie were to be a Disney princess she would choose Ana from Frozen, or Rapunzel from Tangled, for the sole reason that they seem to have the most fun and freedom. Carlie would recommend going to Disney world to everyone. Her favorite ride is “Peterpan’s Flight”.
Carlie dreams of adventure. She hopes to travel the world before she kicks the bucket. Her dream spot to visit would be Paris, a city full of museums and history. If she were to travel the world with anyone, she would choose Adam Driver without hesitation. Carlie is not scared of going on her own “adventures” at home. She is a bookworm and often uses her books to take her to other places. Some of her favorite authors are Sarah J Maas and Casandra Clare.
Carlie is full of imagination and creativity. When asked what item she couldn’t live without other than her phone, she answered, “A charger to keep my phone charged”. This out-of-the-box thinking carries with her into play rehearsal. She always brings fresh ideas to the table that leads to a successful production.
Carlie is involved in many activities including oral interp, spring and one-act play, and even a job at the local Dairy Queen. Her favorite activity she is involved in is Oral interp. Her favorite moment from her time in MHS oral interp is sophomore year at state interp when she had a pie and juice party with her fellow interpers. Carlie hopes to bring her love of the arts with her beyond high school, She plans to attend Augustana University in the fall to major in theater, and in 10 years she hopes to be a successful director.
