If you were to go to Kansas in 10 years, you would hopefully find Logan. You’ll see him with 2 or 3 children, teaching physical education at the town’s high school, and coaching football. Logan Matthew Allbee a 17-year-old, who believes he couldn’t make it through life without gum. When asked what he recommends to others, he said something pretty inspirational, “I recommend to do as much as possible as often, and as many times as possible,” because he believes that you should be yourself, let nobody but yourself control you, and make your own decisions.
Logan and his family live outside of town; they have a home at the Lakes Golf Course. Logan has five members of his family, he has his father, Scott; mother, Dawn; and two older brothers, Jordan and Kyle. Logan has an interesting fact about him and his brothers, and that is their names are in alphabetical order with their ages. Logan values family - when I asked what he would do with 5 million dollars to spend in 5 days he answered, “I would buy my grandparents a nice home on a nice plot of land, and build a new house for my parents with a backyard mini-golf course for my Dad.”
I asked Logan to compare 2020 to a food item and Logan believes it’s like a cheeseburger, because of how a burger has tiers, just like his happiness levels over the year. He also has one fear which is different from most, and that is a fear of failing or not putting out 100 percent in anything he does. He has a favorite film which is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and would like to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune or Family Feud.
I decided to ask Logan if he had a life mantra, or a quote to live by and he made one of his own, “If you let people control you and you are not yourself, then what is the point in life?” Logan says he feels he is good at sports and talking to people, and says his favorite sport is baseball which he feels he is the best at. Logan also has started a bucket list and on it, he wants to see a baseball game at every MLB stadium, as well as go skydiving or parasailing. If he could choose to live anywhere for a year he would choose to live in Italy, because of the food. With his mantra in mind, it appears Logan will do just as it says, after high school, he plans to go to either SDSU or USD to become a teacher.
