Seventeen-year-old Blaine Tucek, a Madison High School senior, is the son of Michelle and Terry and the younger brother of Justin and Wayde. Blaine Scott Tucek lives in small-town Howard, South Dakota, but takes the long drive to Madison every morning just to come to school with all of his friends. When he isn’t in Howard or school Blaine, can be found making subs at One-Stop, hanging out with friends, or playing football.
Blaine has a very competitive spirit whether it comes to football or playing Phase 10, “the best card game ever,” with all of his pals. Hanging out with his friends is one of Blaine’s favorite things to do in his free time. Another activity he enjoys doing with the boys is listening to music. Some of Blaine’s favorite artists include Juice Wrld, Polo G, and Mike Stud.
When asking Blaine one thing that would be on his bucket list he said, “Going to watch a Cincinnati Bengals football game or March Madness.” Blaine loves watching sporting events, but he also enjoys watching different TV shows and movies. He suggests watching the shows Outer Banks and All American. Another hobby Blaine really enjoys is playing video games. Although Blaine does a lot of different activities he would consider himself to be a sloth, “Because they are very lazy,” he said.
Blaine’s future is bright, he plans on going to either South Dakota State University or the University of South Dakota. Although he is not sure exactly what major he will end up doing, he has narrowed it down to one field. For his college education, he plans on seeking a career in the business field. After college, he wishes to become a real estate agent and go to California and work at his Aunt’s real estate company. Ten years from now Blaine sees himself to be successful in whatever job he ends up pursuing and possibly be starting a family of his own.
