If you've ever been to a Friday night football game, chances are that you have heard Carter's name announced through the speakers. Carter Richard Bergheim is a very active eighteen-year-old, participating in many different school activities. He is on the varsity football, basketball, and track and field team. Sports are a very important part of his life, when he's not playing them, he's at home watching them. He loves watching football, but above all, he most enjoys watching college basketball. When March Madness comes around, you'd be hard-pressed to catch him doing anything but watching. His favorite team is Syracuse, but he still watches every game. Carter is a very competitive person, he loves to play sports just to compete. If he could, he would go on the endurance show Wipeout, not for the prize at the end, but just to prove that he can win it.
Aside from sports, his family is another important thing in his life. His family consists of five members; his mother and father, his 21-year-old sister, and his 11-year-old brother. The only interesting thing that stands out to Carter about his family is that his father was adopted. If he was given the option to live anywhere for a year, he would choose to just stay home, near his family and friends. If he had to go on a trip though, he would choose to go somewhere warm, but just for a vacation. If Carter received five million dollars to spend on anything besides himself, he would give three million to his parents, and one million to each of his siblings. With the one million dollars set aside for his brother, he says, “I would make sure my brother has enough Cosmic Brownies for life.”
In ten years, Carter wants to be married and work a lasting career. His career of choice would have something to do with business. He is very interested in the financial side of businesses. He says, “I love working math out in my head.” Carter plans to go to college in-state, and then work somewhere near his hometown. He doesn't want to live very far away from his family when he's older. Carter wants to have children in the future. He would love to coach them and cheer them on. While older, Carter would like to travel around the U.S. and maybe someday visit every NFL stadium. He is very interested in sports and would love to find himself at a Superbowl someday.
