Have you ever watched the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? Abigail Lynn Morse sure has and she describes it as “a movie that never gets old”. Seventeen-year-old Abigail, more commonly known as Abby, lives on a farm with her dad, John; mom, Kris; and younger brother, Ryan. Some fun facts about Abby are that she shares the same birthday as her dad, her favorite color is blue, and her favorite food is steak.

Abby emphasizes that she is really good at procrastinating, and even wishes she had the superpower to get many things done at once so procrastination would not be an issue. However, procrastination hasn’t stopped her from being involved at Madison High School. Throughout the last 4 years, Abby has participated in several sports including volleyball, basketball, and track and field, where she competes in discus and shotput. Additionally, Abby has is a member of several organizations like 4-H, FFA, and the student council, where she currently serves as president. She shows beef cattle and pigs when she can.

If Abby had five million dollars to spend in five days and could not spend it on herself, she would give the money to her brother Ryan to buy the farm equipment of his choice. In return, Ryan would probably have to buy her some iced coffee as Abby claims that she could not live without them. In addition to her strong love for caffeine, Abby desires to be like Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds, as she would enjoy being as smart as he is.

One thing that high school has taught Abby is that what you get out of something depends on what effort you put in. After graduating high school, Abigail plans to attend SDSU pursuing a degree in Animal Science. In 10 years, she sees herself working as a veterinarian or in animal nutrition with a family living in the country. However, if she could live anywhere in the world, she would want to live in the U.S. Virgin Islands because of the interesting national parks and beautiful views.
