If you ever need help understanding a type of music or need some help with schoolwork, Elijah Ray Olson is the guy to ask. Elijah, an 18-year-old, Madison High School senior is the son of Charity Olson. He enjoys music and hopes to one day be a successful singer or songwriter. He, like most of his family, is in the military. He works part-time in security forces for the Air National Guard and likes learning from the fully trained military members. If he could live anywhere in the world, he would choose somewhere in Europe, “because there are so many places to visit and so many things to experience.”

When Elijah isn’t grinding out his schoolwork or working, he is probably at home watching his favorite movie, Creed 2, or his favorite T.V show, The Mandalorian. He cannot live without his home computer because it’s his main source of listening to and making music. If Elijah was given five million dollars, he would ask his friends for five dollars each, and then he would evenly distribute his money between the friends that paid him the five dollars. If Elijah were to recommend anything, it would be to get involved in band and choir because “the experience and people in it are something you will never forget.” Elijah compares the last year of his life to a jawbreaker because “it was tougher than any other time of my life but, ultimately, it made me stronger".

Elijah’s future is very bright. He plans to go to the military part-time while also attending the University of Sioux Falls to double major in music and business. Elijah then plans on making his own music, staying in the military, and maybe even one day starting his own business. In ten years, Elijah sees himself thrown into a lot of work trying to start his career.
