Alex David Ersland is a man who is very serious. He is a very logical person, and always thinks things through before doing them. He has lived in Madison his whole life and loves South Dakota. His favorite color is red because he thinks that it “just looks good”. Alex loves a good cheeseburger, especially if they are from one of his favorite restaurants, like Texas Road House.
Alex is a lover of media and an appreciator of the fine arts. He loves spy movies such as Skyfall, Mission Impossible Fallout, and Tenet. This Madison High School Student also adores the movies: Knives Out and The Empire Strikes Back. Alex likes to play games on his computer, which is his prized possession because he built it back in December 2019. Alex mentioned when talking about building computers that “Building computers is not that hard. All it takes is to plug the wires in the places they need to go.” A fun fact about Alex is that he and his four brothers’ names all start with the letter “A”.
Coincidentally enough, the thing that comes most easily to Alex is learning fast. So this means that Alex’s talent is being good at being talented. This helps him with his work around the farm. The thing he finds most rewarding about working on the farm is figuring out solutions to the problems he comes across. But unlike working on the farm, the subject he is most interested in is not agriculture, but business. Alex has plans of working in the business field in the future. Alex also likes country music. His favorite artists are Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, and Justin Moore.
With him being such a big movie fan, it is not surprising that his favorite character is Darth Vader. But unlike Darth Vader, Alex would like to live not in space, but in the Black Hills. Alex would like to live in the Black Hills someday because he wants to see if it's a nice place to live.
