Abbey Machelle Allen, a dedicated musician, and an aspiring law school student, is already making her move. She has attended Girls State and became President Pro Tempore of the senate section, as well as committed 5 years to the Spirit of Madison Marching band, and 8 years to her swim team. You can find her performing at the local ‘Brick House’ while maintaining her 4.0 GPA through high school. “Work your hardest, join as many things as you can, and gain connections because they will come in handy”, she advises. With such a busy schedule Abbey has related her 2021 as a bag of popcorn, “Because my list of responsibilities has expanded and grown so quickly”.
She enjoys a good pepperoni pizza, which is “A classic,” she adds. She fears failure but she does not let it stop her, “It only pushes me to better myself and to meet my goals”. “I’ve always found that public speaking and public performance come fairly easy to me.” She intends to go to a 4-year university and obtain a major in either political science or criminal justice as well as a minor in music. She would like to attend a law school in hopes of gaining the title of ‘attorney’. In 10 years she sees herself going to an abundance of concerts and traveling to distant places - “I just want to do what I can to enjoy my life”.
Abbey has a lot on her plate, but likes to relax also. She enjoys the Harry Potter movies and Criminal Minds program. Abbey is a born musician. When asked what she couldn’t live without she replied, ”Probably my guitar or keyboard. I love playing and making music and I imagine my life would be quite dull without it”.
