If Scooby-Doo were to be played by a senior from Madison High School, it would have to be seventeen-year-old Michael Jon Peters. According to Michael, the character Scooby-Doo describes him best because “he eats a lot, is scared easily, and has no idea what is going on.” Michael was born on May 18, 2004, and lives with his mom, Angela; his dad, Jeremy; and his two brothers, Isaac and AJ.
In 10 years, Michael hopes to live in Sioux Falls and be a financial advisor. However, for now, he will have to stay put and continue working at Cherry Lanes. While working at Cherry Lanes, Michael loves helping out with the Special Olympics. After he graduates high school, Michael plans on going to school and getting a bachelor's degree in finance to help his dream come true of becoming a financial advisor. However, if he could experience a profession for a day, he would choose to be a criminal justice lawyer so he can help people.
Speaking of helping people, a little tip from Michael: eat mini corn dogs with barbeque sauce. Just try it. On the topic of food, if one food were to describe the last year of Michael’s life it would be a cinnamon roll. Why you may ask? Well, because “they fall apart easily; however, they can be pieced back together.”
As Michael pieces his life together one piece at a time, he is preparing to continue his life after high school. In 10 years, Michael hopes to have a family with two kids. He also hopes to live in a rural setting. Michael has a full life ahead of him with many dreams that he will achieve.
