Enoch David Martin, also known as Chone (thanks to Mr. Gors, a former middle school teacher of his) is the older brother of three siblings, and also has two older siblings. He lives in the small town of Madison, SD; however, his aspirations and compassionate mindset go far beyond the neighborhoods of Madison, or even South Dakota. Enoch, at 17 years old, is a selfless, thoughtful, disorganized (but bright) student, and has a very big heart.
Enoch enjoys eating various forms of potatoes and loves the color purple. He relies on his headphones to wind down at the end of a stressful day (or whenever). His favorite show is Avatar: The Last Airbender and his favorite read is The Girl who Drank the Moon. If he were to describe the last year of his life as food, he would relate it to a pretzel, because this year was “salty and twisted.” He thinks Sweden sounds like the perfect place for him, and if given the opportunity to live anywhere in the world for a year, he’d choose to go there.
Enoch finds his passion for acting time-consuming (in a good way) and uses his dramatic and enthusiastic side. Acting delights him so much that if he could do anything, he would strive for a career as an established actor. It’s something he's not only great at and wants in his future, but he also recommends it to other people so it can help them become more comfortable with all areas of social interactions, just like it helped him. Enoch loves that acting enables people to express themselves in a judgment-free zone and get acquainted with different situations and all sorts of people.
If Enoch could have any superpower, he would like the ability to manipulate earth and metal, so he could build homes for people in need. If Enoch were given $5 million, but couldn’t spend any of it on himself, he would use it to remodel abandoned malls and turn them into housing parks. His selfless and kind nature relates to all aspects of his life, like at his job where he is a cook. Enoch says that he loves his job just because he’s able to serve others.
