If you’ve never met 17-year-old Bryn Elizabeth Johnson, you are sure to miss out on knowing her captivating, one-of-a-kind personality. There is much to learn about this active, summer-loving young woman. Bryn was born and raised in Madison as the youngest of 3 girls. Her family consists of her Mom, Dad, 2 Step-parents, and 2 older sisters. When asked about any nicknames she had, Bryn said, “My dad calls me B.E. because it’s my first and middle initial.” Some of Bryn's many favorites include the color pink, the T.V. show Outer Banks, and the movie Home.

Bryn lets nothing get in her way, except maybe a couple of creepy crawlers. “Snakes have always scared me and the way they slither grosses me out and the legs on spiders are disgusting and they both move so quickly in such sudden movements,” Bryn says. She says that snakes and spiders stop her from doing the house chores, such as mowing the lawn and cleaning out the window wells. If Bryn had $5 million dollars to spend, she would splurge on a house and a 2021 BMW 3 Series. Hopefully, she uses some of the leftover money for some snake and spider repellent!

Bryn describes the last year of her life as a chocolate chip cookie. “Some parts of it were sweet, but the rest of it was pretty boring,” she commented. In 10 years Bryn will be living in a house with her own family, a couple of dogs and working her dream job. Given the chance to live anywhere in the world for a year, Bryn would go to Colorado. The majestic mountains and hiking opportunities interest her. Moving out West is something that's been on her mind for quite some time.

One thing that comes easy to her is “hands-on learning.” Her current field of work is a cashier at Runnings, where the most rewarding part is all of the new friendships developed. Bryn plans on going to Southeast Tech for her RN and to follow in her mother's footsteps. Bryn’s favorite subject in school is art, she could never live without her 3 furry best friends.  She has 2 Havanese and 1 Beagle-Border Collie mix dogs. Bryn conducts herself as a hard-working, kind, and selfless individual. Those are sure traits that will hopefully follow along as she moves on into the next phase of her fulfilling life.
