Mrs. Sarah Landin is our new counselor here at Madison High School. She grew up in Luverne, Minnesota, and later went to Minnesota State University to study social work. Why did Mrs. Landin want to become a school counselor? At first, she didn’t, but then she began school social work and realized the importance of school counseling. That’s when she made her decision to become a school counselor. Mrs. Landin lives in Madison with her four kids, husband, and dog. A fun fact is that the Vikings are Mrs. Landin’s favorite sports team. When she is not watching the Vikings or at school, Mrs. Landin can be found reading books, drinking Mountain Dew, hanging out with her favorite people, and doing fun activities at the lake. She also enjoys cleaning her house. During the summer Mrs. Landin is a counselor at her church’s affiliate camp, Cedar Canyon, which is located in Rapid City. Something she wants everyone to know is that her office is a lot of fun. She is very experienced and says, “anything you need - I can help.” Welcome, Mrs. Landin!!
