Born on August 2nd, 2004, Bailey is the daughter of Gary and Dana Gonyo and an older sister to Miranda. When asked for her recommendation about anything to anyone, Bailey said, “I recommend reading books because it’s very relaxing and it lets you escape reality for a bit.” Bailey enjoys this free time and she enjoys alone time as well; this is one of the reasons Bailey likes her job at Assist Financial Services. The ability to have her own desk and work independently on what she needs to do benefits her, “I like working at my job because I get to work in a calm, relaxing environment,” she says.
Bailey loves to travel. While she doesn’t have much of a bucket list started, she does have a list of places she wishes to go to. In the last year, she traveled to Belize and Mexico. She hopes to spend time in Greece soon. She wants to spend time there because the sights are beautiful, but that isn’t all. If Bailey received a large sum of money or a superpower of her choice, she would spend her money to gain flight and explore more of the world, especially Europe.
Bailey enjoys science, particularly the medical sciences. In 10 years, she hopes to see herself graduated from college and living on the East Coast with a steady career in the medical field. Bailey plans on attending SDSU in Brookings next fall. While still unsure of her major, she wants to pursue nursing, respiratory therapy, or even mortuary science.
