17-year-old Ashlyn Carrie Ann Strom is the daughter of Corey and Brenda Strom, and sister to Jorgen, Joshua, and Ryker Vosberg. Ashlyn plans to attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to major in Human Physiology with a minor in Physical Activity and Health Promotion on the pre-med track. Along with the exciting future move to Minnesota, Ashlyn is now able to “catch up on lost time” with her two brothers - Joshua and Ryker - who live in Minneapolis.
Ashlyn spends a great deal of her time in the gym - commonly at 5 am. Though many people do not know this about her, if she were to be an influencer, her content would include a mix of lifting and nutrition, as well as traveling. Along with her enjoyable hobby of lifting, Ashlyn’s most memorable vacation would include her many travels. Greece would be her favorite trip because “it was cool to see all the different architecture and culture.” Due to her passion for traveling, her superpower that she would find the most beneficial would be teleportation so she could travel around the world in little time.
Besides Ashlyn’s many hobbies, she is involved in or leading a variety of activities. She is the President of the National Honor Society and also the President of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA). Ashlyn’s prevalent involvement in school activities is also shown in her memberships of The Maroon Newspaper and Student Council, as well as the gymnastics team manager. She also furthers her education in the medical field by volunteering her time at Sanford Heath once a week and working at Bethel Lutheran Home as a CNA. She works as a waitress at The Office and a vet assistant at Twin Lakes Animal Clinic.
Pink is a major factor in the day-to-day life of Ashlyn Strom. She can be found wearing pink in a variety of ways: her water bottle, nails, or clothes. Another thing she cannot live without would be caffeine as she can be commonly seen drinking a Xyience energy drink in the mornings. Ashlyn’s perfect day would entail a day of going to the gym, getting dressed up to go shopping, then getting her favorite meal - Qdoba, and ending the day with a nap - with the help of her most sentimental item - her pillow. Ashlyn’s advice for future high school students would be “to live your life and don't let others tell you how”.
