Whatever happened to Carl Azuz? Carl, as most of you may know, has been the host of CNN 10 for the past ten years and the face of the program. CNN 10 and Carl go hand in hand; like peanut butter and jelly. But now, all of a sudden, the star of the show has disappeared. He is no longer on CNN and is trending as “dead” on Twitter.
He filmed his last episode in May of 2022, at the end of the school year. At the beginning of this school year, he tweeted “so excited to start up another year of CNN 10!” But, he never showed. They postponed the start of the show for another week, and then finally started with a replacement anchor, Coy Wire, a full-time sports anchor, and correspondent. Coy graduated from Stanford, got drafted into the NFL (where he received several honors), and is an award-winning journalist.
Here is what I think really happened to Carl: As established earlier, Carl is the face of CNN. He loved being on the show and it is very mysterious that he just quit all of the sudden. It is established that he is not dead, as Carl posted an announcement confirming that he is not in fact dead and stepped down from the show for “personal reasons.”
Although Coy hosts various CNN shows, Coy missed his NFL celebrity fame and wanted more. Our beloved Coy, NFL retiree, and American hero has taken a turn for the worse and is holding Carl hostage. With nothing to do after his finished football career, the star wanted more tv time and took over the new position. Yes, this seems a bit far, but how far would you go for fame?
