Eighteen-year-old Elizabeth Arlene Pickard, better known as “Lizzie” to most people, lives with her mom, Monica; her dad, Bill; and her brother, Wyatt. Both Lizzie and Wyatt are adopted and they have 2 dogs named Lucy and Gizmo, and a cat named Max.
When Lizzie is not working at Nicky’s or attending school at Madison High School, she spends her time baking. She loves baking desserts such as brownies and apple crisp, but her favorite food to eat is spaghetti. Another thing Lizzie enjoys doing is going to band competitions and seeing other bands perform.
Spelling and grammar come easily to Lizzie, which is convenient because English is her favorite subject in school. After high school, Lizzie plans to attend a 4-year university in-state, most likely South Dakota State University.
When asked what superpower she would choose to have she replied with “teleportation, so I wouldn't have to drive anywhere.”
Some fun facts about Lizzie are she is afraid of the dark and spiders. Lizzie's favorite book is Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. One of the most interesting things about Lizzie is if she could live anywhere for a whole year, she would choose to live in Italy so she could explore the different environments and people.
When asked where she sees herself in 10-15 years, she said, “living somewhere isolated, but closer to town, maybe married with kids, but definitely having 2 dogs, and possibly a cat.”
